Rapid CO sensor system
The carbon monoxide measuring system GM950 from SICK MAIHAK is in particular suitable for monitoring of fast CO concentration changes. Due to the short response time the GM950 is able to measure almost delay-free rapid increasing concentration peaks of CO or other combustible gases. The GM950 is modular designed so that a flexible configuration of the system components is possible.
Applications
  • Cement industry: precipitator protection against fast increasing CO peaks by measuring of CO in raw gas (precipitator inlet)
  • Furnace plants: combustion process control, minimization of aggressive pollutants
  • Availability increase of combustion plants, e.g. by monitoring the CO concentration in boilers
