Diaphragm controls are used as point level controls for medium and heavy bulk goods of all kind. They are used at conveyors, drop tubes, bucket elevators and whenever protruding parts within a vessel are not feasible.

Diaphragm controls are designed for exterior, side-of-bin mounting. The pressure of the material in the bin acts on the diaphragm and actuates a microswitch. The sensitivity is adjustable. The devices are only for open or non-pressurized vessels.
